Major League Soccer’s longtime struggling franchise the Chicago Fire became a priority turnaround club for the league office to support in 2013. Mike Magee, the underdog, 2012 MLS MVP forward from Chicago, stars in this nostalgia inducing soccer parody mashup of the 1980’s comedy classic, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club reported $500,000 dollars in estimated earned media value, with strong coverage from local newspapers and broadcast news affiliates.
